Great post Pete...what I was trying to wrap my head around is the fact that the patients were moderate to severe hospitalized patients and we did not hear of any patient deaths. This may be different from other trials due to the fact that it was covid, but wouldn't the issue of patient deaths have to be addressed in some fashion that we would have heard about? Considering that the fatality rate of moderate to severe hospitalized patients is likely closer to 10%, roughly 12 patients would have been expected to parish from COVID in the study. I could be way off base here as I am an engineer and not a health professional. Do you have any insight?
