I think TSOv and Evil Rabbit are correct. Why put out this statement and why NOW?
To me it seems like they are trying to get out in front of mounting pressure from different source, Doctors who have used this drug, Us investors and possibly different senators and congressmen.
This is a nice statement they can trot out to the Press and or any Senator that comes along putting pressure on them as to what is going on with LL..
The timing seems to me to be most likely because of imminent EUA or some type of approval in another country. Think about, if the PH FDA or India is about to give some type of approval for LL this is going to make them look bad and if it does well they will look really bad.
So is the data on the first 28 or 100+ patients in the PH about to be released?
Is the PH going to issue an EUA?
