Brilacidin, we think, and hope, kills the virus and also acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory to try to PREVENT cytokine storm.
If Brilacidin works against COVID, hopefully it would prevent patients from entering severe cytokine storm. But if they got Brilacidin too late to prevent cytokine storm, Leronlimab might halt that reaction.
I can easily see both drugs being necessary and life-saving tools against COVID deaths.
