I agree generally. But I remember several times (notably around CD10 results) when NP was visibly uneasy and anxious in interviews around that time. He wears his heart on his sleeve.
Does that mean we hit our P value? Not sure. But he sure believes we will. And SK looks like the cat that ate the canary.
