This new CDC guidance is a catastrophe. Even if a vaccine really WAS 94% effective -- which none of them are, because of the variants -- that still means that some vaccinated people can get infected. Those with the JNJ vaccine have about 72% protection.
CDC is going to trigger another huge outbreak.
Remember the Indian-American epidemiologist who went to India to help his family, got infected and died? He was fully vaccinated. The vaccines may not protect well against that variant, and it unquestionably is here in the U.S. and spreading.
All this ridiculous BS that there will supposedly be no need for therapeutics once everyone is vaccinated -- that is crazy talk. We need good therapeutics more than we need vaccines right now. If Brilacidin hadn't been held up by the FDA there would be a lot of people walking the earth today who are under it instead.
