I had to search for anyone I still had on ignore to see who you were replying to. I see OMandarin likes to use the term “Chinese Virus.”
Does anyone have a problem with me blanket deleting posts using that phrase? I find it unnecessary and the fact he uses “aka Covid-19” only underscores that. Is there anyone here who doesn’t know what Covid-19 is without the help of the other phrase?
Just yesterday, the dude who shot up the Asian massage parlors was charged with a hate crime. We’ve all seen the spike in anti-Asian sentiment across the US and beyond, so using the phrases “Chinese Virus” or “China Virus” is, again, simply unnecessary and says a lot about you if you use it. You can also see countless videos on Twitter of Asian people being harassed and assaulted by folks using that phrase.
Enough.
