Determined shorts use any kind of news item or press release to try to suppress stock price, so they can say "See, no one trusts this company" -- exactly so that people will post "The stock is going down on good news, there must not be any shorts out there lying about the company, or else it would have gone up. No, there's something wrong, it must have been overpriced to start with..."
or other similar nonsense. I've seen this many times before, with other companies. No matter how good the news, it's portrayed as problematic. Why help them out, by setting a high target?
I will be thrilled if there is a huge contract that brings a lot of income to the company. But I am certainly not going to make assumptions about the size of this first sale. As I said, anything is a victory.
The science is good. The company is on the right track. I'm making no assumptions about how large a purchase this will be.
