Reminds me of a story about Herman Mankiewicz, screenwriter of Citizen Kane, and Harry Cohn, head of Columbia Pictures. At a dinner party Cohn was asked how he decided which films to release. Cohn Said, “I have a foolproof device for judging whether a picture is good or bad. If my fanny squirms, it’s bad. If my fanny doesn’t squirm, it’s good. It’s as simple as that.” Herman Mankiewicz was sitting across from Cohn. “Imagine that," the writer said. "The whole world wired to Harry Cohn’s ass!”
Whether people on this board think the first sale will be $28 million, or $2.8 million, or $280,000, or twenty-eight cents and a package of Fireballs, matters not a whit to the share price. On this board there is a general sense of expectation and excitement. That has not been reflected in the action of the stock. If it were going to go up based on our expectation, it would have done so. But the world is not wired to our collective asses.
Apologies to Respert about the #Buttjoke.

Raising expectations that the company is suddenly going to have 25 million dollars in the bank, when in all likelihood it will be less in this one INITIAL sale, is inviting bashers to scream "another missed goal"...
