Re: I_luv_cydy #89632
I had symptoms for decades. I was assured I suffered from esophageal reflux disease and that my heart was absolutely fine as confirmed by more than one cardiologist with multiple tests. Finally I said to my doctor " look it hearts when I walk and goes aawy when I sit down. That's not reflux it's angina." He said " But were did a nuclear stress test and your heart did fine." He sent me back to the cardiologist who then decided a cathiterization study was in order, but said I might need a stent to which I agreed. When I awoke from the procedure asked if a stent was placed I was told that it was too risky, I could die at any minute, I had no other options but quadruple bypass, here is the surgeon. He told me to go home and make an appointment for a consultation on a Thursday and reiterated I had no option, but immediate quadruple bypass surgery if I wanted to live. I was lucky. They must have had a full schedule, so they sent me home. I went home hoping I didn't die during the night. It didn't make any sense to me. Why did they send me home. I was the fish that got away, but I spent many a night hoping I would live to see the morning.
