that $$ point suggesting LL should be priced like rem irked the heck out of me too.
fact is any patient in icu in manila imo would have been given rem first off.as the WHO mentioned something like rem hardly even works or has little benefit?the other fact that could have been mentioned in interview is LL shortens icu stay.below is an older article but patient stayed 18 days in manila hospital with 5 icu days cost in u.s. dollars between $20,000 to $30,000.no doubt even if patient
paid $1000 u.s. for LL his bill would have been less especially if given LL early.imo
