Re: Goosebumps #87849
A rocket uses massive fuel to get its trip started, most of the fuel is used prior to lift off, gravity wants to hold it to the earth. Gravity literally acts like a huge magnet, saying, "no, you shall not fly amigo". The explosions within the rocket's engine persist, exclaiming "yes, I shall fly", because the rocket must fly, must overcome the magnetic gravity's hold. The rocket lifts off, as the distance between the rocket and earth increases, the hold of gravity quickly decreases. Eventually, the rocket (Apollo crafts, Voyager etc.) can fly at about 30,000 mph, WITH THE ENGINES TURNED OFF. (an object in motion will continue in its state of motion, unless a force acts upon it). Voyager will fly forever into space, zero fuel needed) as its searches for ET carrying photos and videos of Elvis, our cultures, our language, a map of the Milky Way Galaxy, etc. Leronlimab's engines are roaring, lift-off is in count-down phase.
