Broadcast is over 4 hours and have not watched it yet but from the notes and comments- looks like leron is mentioned by Dr. Randy.

'Today, CNN Philippines broadcast of House of Representatives Congress Committee looking at other treatments for covid. People of note testifying … the FDA Director and Dr. Randy amongst others.
- The FDA director being grilled on why new treatments not being made available
- Big push for Ivermectin to be made more widely available.
- Committee member asking about Leron, Dr. Randy testifying at committee making a strong push for it. E.g. saying that he is getting calls at 3am in the morning from doctors asking for it. Says it should be allowed to be stocked in hospitals so that the wait time for using it on patients is minimized, had one applicant pass away before the drug arrived in Philip. FDA director now saying that it would be possible for hospitals to file a CSP requesting Leron in advance and without identifying which patients it is to be used for. Seems agreement from FDA that hospitals WILL be allowed to stock some quantities of Leron going forward. But sounds like FDA is very resistant to giving EUA at this time.
- Strong push from Committee against the use of “overpriced” Remdesivir, FDA Director defending use of Remdesivir…..
Bottom line here, big push for Ivermectin to be allowed wide use in Philippines and also Leronlimab to be allowed more wide use. Obviously, if the results of Leron is good in the early CSPs, Leron will totally take off in the Phillip.
Another hearing scheduled in the future.'
