Fire departments need a way to look up patient’s medication their history and their allergies every single time we go on scene of a 911 medical call.
Most the time our patients have a large grocery bag of medication they take or a long medical history.
Having a national system that we can login with their name and find out all the medication they take and their medical history without having to take the time to sort it out and ask them.
Half the time they don’t know what medication they take or where the meds are or what their medical history is.
If everyone can put it in one system it you make it a lot easier at least 911.
From the looks of it looks like St. Louis fire department is already started I think I remember seeing something about Miami too.
