While the bacterial infection is unrelated, it's being treated with antibiotics. He's also had his second LL dose so immune system will be firing on all cylinders (as much as it can at 84).
But let this temporary setback be a lesson to those calling for Cytodyn to trumpet the drug's success as early as last weekend. When the news first reached shareholders it was reason to celebrate because it was more proof LL worked. It was *not* reason to PR because there was always the possibility of this setback and we don't want any possibly negative outcome to be laid at the feet of LL.
