Personally, I love the name. It's a one-word, easy to remember identifier, just like the other companies you mentioned. Then throw in the added bonus of verb being an action word...Ties together quite nicely with VERB's tagline, Inspire Action.

I could see them going by 'Verb Tech' since it says more upfront (And its their website URL)

Do you follow Verb on Twitter? Pretty sure they've hinted at something new on there, and were actually using the name Verbie for it. That wasn't in regards to the marketplace though.
