Would love all this to be true. But it isn't. Magna could have acted criminally with some companies it invested in and be totally fine with others.
Magna is being accused of criminal conduct in connection with their actions relating to certain toxic notes, but not the toxic notes themselves. Toxic notes aren't the issue. They say what they say and are legal. Shady AF, but legal.
AMBS or the SEC would have to prove - in court - that Magna acted criminally in connection with AMBS before getting any relief. For example, having a shady lawyer draft a removal of transfer restrictions letter or a shady transfer agent doing the same.
A serial killer convicted of one murder isn't convicted of all he is suspected of.
Long and expensive way to go for AMBS on that front.
