there seems to be a lot of negativity regarding the conference calls. i for one am very appreciative of the conference calls.
there are people who say that the conference calls drive down the SP. i don't buy that. maybe there is some run up in SP in anticipation to possible news, and when the news doesn't occur the SP settles back in. often-times there are just unrealistic expectations going into the call. I've been guilty of that personally. but that's not on management - it's not like they say "we're going to announce an approval on the next call".
at the end of the day, the call is a source of information - and i truly believe NP and the mgmt team are trying to give us good info by having them. and having more information about your investment is a good thing. even when i've been disappointed about a lack of news on a call, i've come away knowing more about this investment.
for those who think the calls are a sham, or that NP and management are dishonest or totally incompetent, etc, etc. - you should probably just move on to another investment. i would if i felt that way.
