Physicians by virtue of their elevated status and presumed knowledge and training have a fiduciary responsibility not to make false pronouncements because they could harm the public health. Lawyers and their political cronies have no such constraints and get us killed all the time with their lies in war and in peace. That is why self serving people like lawyers try to equate themselves with physicians.
