I don't recall the LL to placebo ratio in the trial, but let's say it's 2:1 for the LL arm. If I was suffering for months from covid, I'd dive at the chance to get into the trial knowing I had a 66% chance of getting LL. Much better than zero percent chance by not being in the trial.
