Really?? So companies then are not responsible to their investors without whom they would not be a viable company?? I think you took very strange economic and finance courses. You may think stocks are just a form of gambling and maybe that's what it is becoming but that's not supposed to be how the market bad public companies work. In fact this is the exactly what economists fear the most.
