Re: LaundryMoney #85212
How about we keep it simple... Quality of life.
'On a scale of 1-10 what was your quality of life before catching covid? What activities/hobbies did you enjoy doing? What is your quality of life now on a scale of 1-10? Are you able to do the activities/hobbies you enjoy? And finally as the trial progresses each time they come in for a shot ask the same question..."
For long haulers it is very simple. How bad did it suck being a longhauler and how good is it now after LL. I'm sure their physicians that have been attending to them over the past 3-6-9-12 months will have plenty to say as well.
LH is simple shit and the FDA can kiss our ass. We can become the standard of care easy because there is none... Isn't that how remdisivir got approved so easily? First drug to show a modicum of efficacy??? (but also known to do harm I might add, so we have this going for us as well).
The FDA F'd it up big time a year ago passing us over and dragging us along. They can help longhaulers now... Long haulers, you know the people that will continue to be a burden on health care until they are healthy... People that might have to start getting S.S. checks early because they can't return to work in their condition...
Now, instead of bumping off the elderly (burden on society) to save money by denying them LL as in the year past, the FDA would now be saving money by allowing LL to get people that were good worker ants back to work (Also these people will continue to be ATM machines for BP while they are working because they probably have monthly prescriptions they take). Basically most LH'ers have not outlasted their usefullness to the system yet so financially it makes sense to cure them quickly
Unfortunately this is the lens through which are lives are viewed by the FDA.
Don't forget to get your vaccine!!!!
