It's just a little quizzical, as the rule is long established.
Even if PPSI was a private company, as it is wholly owned it's bottom line income and revenues would pass through to UNVC - I even went so far to speak to an market compliance attorney to verify this.
Any revenues arising from PPSI would ultimately be attributed to UNVC, and whilst the reports are not made public due to the current 'dark' status, the financials and shareholder counts would have to be forwarded to the SEC to meet regulatory compliance, in order to maintain its non-reporting standing.
This has always given me pause - I agree though, the financials will tell the story, if only we could get to see them.
