Why don't you read what is in those bills about shortened periods for early voting, reduced number of polling places where 'those people' live and too many other Jim Crow like measures?
Funny thing is, it's going to make it harder on GOP voters too and, of course, it will redouble Dem registration efforts.

Your refence to the AR-15 is nonsensical. The last assault weapons ban was not specific to that weapon.
Small rounds, high muzzle velocity. There aren't THAT many available weapons with those characteristics.
