I never looked it up but was always thinking hypergrowth was exponential growth. Rather than growing at say 10% year over year

I like Deanotn's example of assigning a number (i.e. 40% or greater) that defines what it is as many people might guess at 100%

One of the things Verb has talked about and its been in some of their job listings is hockey stick type of growth in the future which would be called exponential or hypergrowth
