Funny but embarrassing, everything I do with two hands I do right handed and everything with one hand I do left handed.
Had no problem on the rifle range, damn good shot, as I shot right handed and closed my left eye.
Went to the pistol range and not nearly as good, in fact barely passable. Even though you use two hands on the .45, I shot left handed with my right hand supporting the base. Gunny took one look at my technique and said "Close your other eye, dummy (which I took to mean dumb *** but he was being respectful) as I was still closing my left eye. To make matters worse, I am right eye dominant so you can see why my patterns were next to non-existent. Everything went well on the pistol range after that.
