Much, much thanks.
How many other board leaders tried, but failed, to gently guide an active, constructive, scientific conversation over how long - 6 months?
I'll still be around because I'm still invested and because I think the data says leronlimab can save lives.
We had a "what could go wrong" discussion long ago. My response was that the 2:1 split meant our tiny control group was subject to huge random sampling swings in underlying health. Yep.
I didn't foresee the low number of criticals or the 75 patients getting no other treatment (who were they?). I think the board discounted these as well.
But all issues were well discussed.
