so i'm 5 years long the stock, and remain very optimistic - but it's a frustrating spot we're in.
captain obvious i know, but we need to change the business we are in. right now we are in the business of running trials, releasing poorly written and confusing press releases, and creating proactive videos with Christine Corrado (not that i mind seeing Christine Corrado, mind you). we need to be in the business of selling our drug and creating revenue.
until we become an income generating company, our valuation / SP is at the mercy of the prevailing winds. and i now understand a bit more why the SP plunges every time we miss the mark (as we did with CD10 and CD12). maybe it's a short attack - or maybe it's just people realizing that we are once again much further away from revenue. and with no revenue, what's the company worth? $2? $1? who knows, because there is no basis for valuation if there is no revenue and earnings.
i had really hoped to have some hiv revenue by this point in the game - back when i invested, i was banking on that. now we're chasing COVID full bore, and every other revenue source is a long ways off. sure hope we catch it - but it's frustrating as hell - and while i used to look down on the traders, they're laughing all the way to the bank while i sit here and ride the roller coaster.
at this point, i think we may be stuck in the $2s for the balance of 2021. some will slam me for that, and i hope i'm wrong, but i've become a skeptic.
