In some ways, it would have been better if CD12 was a total failure.
We could have washed our hands, said we tried our best, and refocused on HIV, NASH and cancer.
But because leronlimab does have a benefit for the worst-suffering COVID patients, we CAN'T give up now. It would be morally wrong to walk away now. We CAN save people who are out of options.
And I think that's a good thing, even though it's harder on the wallet, and extremely frustrating for an investor.
I think Nader and everyone else looks at it those way too. You can't give up when you have them ability to help people, PPS be damned.
