If I recall, oral B for IBD /Crohns was designed to dissolve in the lower end of the small intestine. The small intestine can be 9-16 ft long and it passes nutrients into the bloodstream.By designing 'B' to dissolve shortly after passing the stomach into the small intestine ,absorption should be much greater than previous tests in the lower small intestine or large intestine where absorption was minimal. The large intestine doesn't pass materials into the bloodstream but rather absorbs water and collects waste. That's why previous tests/trials showed little absorption because the target was basically the large intestine.
Your idea is great as well but don't discount using the small intestine as a means of getting 'B' into the bloodstream (yet).
Our detractors tried using the "absorption" argument today but purposely "forgot"the above facts.
Whatever "they"say,no matter how "true" it sounds, there's ALWAYS a snake in the grass.
