Seems that the effectiveness of the drug administered via oral route would be the question. Eliminating the coating that provides targeted release wouldn't appear to be a problem but the oral effectiveness for the IBD use seemed to be dependent on low systemic absorption. If B could be administered orally and was as effective orally as it is hoped for systemic function currently in trial, then the phrase home run wouldn't begin to cover it.
