One of the problems buyers have on craigslist, facebook market place, etc. is the scammers

You know the people selling a $50K car for $10K as an example

I see it all the time on Craigslist.

People see a good deal, get all excited without realizing it's a scam

I'll tell you a pretty good way of spotting the scams

Most of the time, they are to lazy to upload more than 1-4 pictures

Where a real seller will upload a lot more usually

I think you can actually upload 24 pictures if you are selling something on craigslist. Why would you only upload 2 unless you were also 'borrowing' someone else's photos.

The other trick is just to take their title and do a google search. You'll usually find the same ad running in multiple cities

Here's a good read if you think you see an ad to good to be true on CL

So what does this have to do with Verb?

If Verb moves forward with the online eCommerce where they are hosting sellers, the sellers are verified. That is a big deal.

Also you get to see the sellers face and can ask them questions. That is a big deal.

With the Verb eCommerce streaming site, there is no cost to sellers if you don't sell as you said. What would you have to lose except a little of your time.

Here's the thing, what you don't sell you could leave on the site to continue to sell. That is brilliant!

But wait, there is more...

Fees

If you do sell, Verb would get a cut. I'm sure they made be adjusted. But right now the highest tier starts at 12% and goes down based on volume

So if you sold $500 in your hour long VL event, Verb would get $60 plus the cost of the credit card fees. Yeah, that is plus and not minus.

That is a heck of a lot cheaper than opening up a store and paying rent so you can talk to people face to face

Keep in mind the 12% is a LOT cheaper than QVC and you don't have to ship your product to Verb nor ship it back if it doesn't sell.

All the upside of a QVC, without the downside plus interactivity

Couldn't you sell on Facebook Live? Sure, but go check one out. It's the most chaotic thing you'll see. People holding up clothes with a number and then you post in the chat you want #51. Then the seller has to manually follow up with you later. Get your payment, etc. How many people change their mind in the meantime?

Looks like the testing is over last month. Hope to see it soon.

Oh and for some of the people pitching on two minute drill, the VL streaming site would be a perfect place to show case their products. Maybe they'd even get that ex New England, now Tampa Bay player they had on last week to sell his product?
