This isnt just shorts. There are investors selling. Some due to the missed PE, some due to the disappointment of needing another trail. Some due to the unclear messaging.
The shorts are participating, but the drop is due to the trial failing. IMO
People are free to sell. People are free to hold. Everyone has to assess their own risk, and their own opinion of what is going to happen next.
The reality is that most of us expected better results. We were wrong. Doesnt mean that COVID is off the table, but it does mean we arent getting an approval in the coming weeks.
Hopefully we are able to show some progress with other countries, and with enrollment of this trial. Hopefully they get the HIV BLA submitted in its entirety.
