Cost is a very real issues for these countries. That's why they've tried things like HCQ and ivermectin in large numbers. It's cheap and available and sometimes it works.

From what I gather, leronlimab is cheaper than other FDA-approved treatments. That's a good thing.

More importantly, it gets patients out of the hospitals faster. That's HUGE for just keeping the expenses down. Less money spent on one patient means you have more to spend on the next ones.
