WE seem to have a lot of ways to define a failure...but less to define success....IF Patients are on their LAST leg/CRITICAL and close to death and upon receiving OUR Molecule....GET up and sit in the wheelchair........IS IT safe to say WE Delivered the goods?....
A Pulsating P-Value in and of itself does NOT save a life...it's a construct ..a guide......BIG NEWS......WE are in a Pandemic/Endemic.........AS a doctor....you want access to the REMEDY and NOT leave to chance the possibility that your patient could possibly end up with the SHORT end of the stick.....Totally UNDERSTANDABLE......How do you establish a trial where the cat is out of the bag already ...the drug works...NO mystery.....WHAT Physician will knowingly allow his patient to be part of THAT scenario.......Don't we have enough damage on exhibit....to show demonstrable proof that the Molecule is effective...without putting more lives at risk?.... All the while "do no harm"...Am I chasing my tail here?
