I understand what you're saying and it makes perfect sense, and it's a legitimate concern. My only question with this, and I don't know the answer, is how many critical patients are there (< 65) that are currently on ventilators? The reason I ask is I would imagine there are thousands within the U.S., so I can't see all of these patients getting accepted under an EIND due to the volume. Perhaps it would be faster to enroll them in the new trial even though there's a chance they may only get the SOC.

Just a thought...
