This isn't directed entirely to you Calstang, but I want to point something out.
The zerohedge "article" isn't an article. It is no different from a long post on this site or another board. The author of the post is probably on all of these boards.
There is no editor, no fact-checking, no research. (At most, those roles are held by someone at CYDY, which would be a further problem).
So, please, let's stop referencing these types of "fancy posts" as something more credible than they are. They are well-written (usually), nicely formatted blogs. No more, no less.
