The fault in all of this lies with Amarex. They are the CRO that set up and ran the trial and it was their job to ensure proper randomization. The fact that they failed to do so means that in addition to getting paid for their failed efforts they will also now get paid AGAIN to run the continuation trial and evaluate those results as well.
