I may be too optimistic, but I do not recall NP speaking about any communication from the FDA regarding any decision on their part. I am hoping that the additional trial may be part of the terms for granting an EUA.( Does someone actually know this is not a possibility?)
I feel that some if not many, fear that approval will come too late to sell inventory. Given that there are still many unknowns about this virus, such as long-term benefit of vaccine & rollout in 3rd world( not to mention the role of variants & mutations) a country working on 2 trillion dollar stimulus packages , might spend 2 or 3 billion on a proven drug( with a long shelf life), just in case. IMO, it would be irresponsible not to. That is just the small part of the world we are familiar with. With so many irons in the fire, shorty might want to be careful about where he rears his ugly assets.
