Symbol perplexity. If you do a Google search using “NGIO” (the “ “ are for an exact word search), you will find what you expect, references to Nugenerex Immuno-oncology, Inc. NASDAQ has NGIO as registered but not trading https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activity/stocks/ngio. Search on “NUGX” you get a plethora of responses, with only one reference to NUGX as a stock ticker. This would be terrible for any new person trying to research Nugenerex using the NUGX symbol. Also, NASDAQ has NUGX as invalid https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activity#msymbol=nugx. The one NUGX ticker reference was https://fintel.io/ss/us/nugx. This concerns me, if one financial website has picked up on NUGX, how many others will in the future use NUGX, causing confusion on where/how to get current information on Nugenerex.
Given the past history of the GNBT/NGIO conflicts and confusion with the SEC/NASDAQ, I am now beginning to think that the NUGX assignment with our broker accounts could be a catastrophe waiting to happen. I would like someone who has direct access to Joe, ask him about the NUGX ticker symbol.
Is NUGX it a temporary “place holder” symbol until NGIO is an active IPO?
Is NUGX a permanent replacement for NGIO (This would be bad since NGIO has been established over the last year+)
Is NUGX just a broker assignment mistake? (The is very very bad, making our shares worthless being assigned to a non-existing ticker symbol)
I, for one, would be relieved to have concrete verification on what is going on.
