People are wrong in thinking that the pandemic is going away anytime soon. Chances are that it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better. Why do I think that? Because of the more transmissible, deadlier variants that continue to mutate from other variants.
This could be the most lethal plague in the history of mankind - worse than the Black Plague, worse than the Spanish Flu. Great swaths of humanity could be wiped out especially in poorer nations where people won't have access to the latest vaccines, booster shots and therapeutics.
