I know there are sharper minds (no cracks) that can opine on this raw thought process but...
Part of the problem is that the target (PE) is not fixed it moves and morphs with endless permutations (how severe / critical, number of injections, number of days and transition into long haulers that do in some cases eventually die) making a single study not definitive almost by definition. But the long term benefit of administering a zero SAE drug is a hard thing to discount when there are no other alternatives. If this is not recognized by the board of the FDA I would be pretty shocked. You can say stat insignificant but there is so much promise here if no eua...wow.
