Open short interest was ~21 million shares when last reported on 12 Feb down from ~27 million shares in Jan. With an average daily volume of 3.6 million shares over the last 20 days it will a few days of heavy buying for shorts to close out positions unless they want to take a chance and ride out EUA for CV19 in multiple countries, sales from volume orders for CV19, uplisting to NASDAQ and BLA submissions for HIV and CV19 (or label expansion). That looks like a high risk gamble given the current stock price. It will be an interesting Monday!
