To my experience, rotten fruit falls on Friday.
To me (and only to me), Friday is to finish the draft package, the weekend is to sleep on it, Monday is to accept final tweaks, and Tuesday to announce.
But then no way NP can be on time, so ....
I am almost certainly wrong.
