CERC-002 actually targets a different TNF unit TNFSF14. TNFSF14 seems to have a lesser modulatory effect on inflammation then TNF-a which is what leronlimab downregulates.
It did get me wondering if CCR5 has an effect on TNFSF14. TNFSF14 production is induced through IL-2 and we know CCR5 blockade downregulates IL-2 through intracellular calcium downregulation and lowering of NFAT so CCR5 blockade would downregulate TNFSF14 along with TNF-a.
