I fully agree with you that I think that it would be appropriate, and that I would really like to receive such an update and confirmation that progress is made/in the making.
However, I doubt that we will see such a general update any time soon. Why?
QUIET PERIOD!!! Which is going on for months now, which is why they have been so very non-verbose in the recent months.
