Enron could have used you, but it's too late for that now. Maybe you could be an expert witness for David's trials and explain how nobody lost any money. You can bill him for it, but he'll never pay you. But as long as your invoices are still outstanding, you can avoid realizing the loss or write-off. Think of it as income 'on paper'.
Get that resume over to Goldman post haste. Oh, and to Berkshire Hathaway too, Warren and Charlie are old and they'll be looking for a replacement.
