Had sometime, so I decided to look into Firsthand Capital who invested a sizable chunk of money into CYDY. Kevin Landis, President, has been around awhile and gave an interview about what he is looking for when purchasing a new holding. He believes in purchasing stock from a smaller number of companies and is not afraid to put up to 5% of total investment into 1 stock. He feels comfortable doing this because of the time he puts into research. He likes looking for “dinosaur killers”- up and coming stocks that are set to disrupt the giants in set fields. He finds these stocks through connections and listening to people in the know, who are eyeballing stocks with high ceilings, but little fan fare at the time of purchase. He must of heard some really good things to put over a million dollars into an OTC stock.
