Re: rocrelease #68738
This is a stock message board and everyone is allowed to have their own opinions but are not allowed to make up their own facts. The following is an incorrect/false statement from post #68738.

“Recruitment is going to take time because each participant will be green-lighting a 50/50 chance that they won't actually be treated and will be given a placebo. Further, the patient, whose life is on the line, is a lab animal at that point--they don't know what the treatment is and must consider that the treatment may actually have detrimental effects on them. Recruitment is going to be difficult. In the next update, I would like to know how many people they've treated thus far.”

Today’s IPIX PR very clearly stated:
• Active Arm (Brilacidin): Standard of Care + daily Brilacidin IV infusion for
3 days
• Control Arm (Placebo): Standard of Care + daily Saline IV infusion for 3
days

If the above mistake was due to a reading comprehension issue then I would suggest posters thoroughly read IPIX PR’s before incorrectly commenting on them. If there are soft bashers that try to post false information on this board their posts will be deleted.
