Re: adirondackhi #67455
Agreed. Here in Texas, Anheuser Busch InBev donated 1.2 million cans of water.. Since we were "down" (no production here in Houston) for 6 days with water restrictions from the city; they had it canned and shipped in form another Brewery. I don't know which one, but first quarter of year is beer's slow quarter so I'm shure it was easy for a Co. like this to do. They keep a reserve of water adv lithoed cans in stock ready to be filled for emergencies. They have the best equipment available.
Re: filler produces an average of 2,000/cans per minute! (120,00 cans/hr)
1 production line averages 40,000 cases per 8 hr shift./ 24 cans per case
That's about 1 mil cans for just one shift.
RMHB in their new equipment purchases have some good equipment, but to realize a comparison I.E. on their new acquired purchases;
The 5 Fillers from Mogul can up to 23,000 BPH
That's cans(bottles) per hour = 383.3 cans per minute
But for a small company, this is really good. I have watched the videos for our current copacker facility and at the speeds coming down the conveyors I am estimating that their filler is a small unit at probably 200 cans per minute which is equivalent to the other 2 Fillers they purchased from Rush at up to 12,000 BPH which is about 200/cpm.
This new equipment gives me HOPE that our future is bright, because for RMHB to grow and prosper they will need good production equipment.
I am going to be 68 this year so after the past 5 years of ups and downs I feel they are positioning themselves to be a major player!
Kudo's to RMHB
They're on the right track!
