Totally agree with your point but I’m looking at the politics of these decisions . The FDA has approved drugs that are less than stellar for Covid but they don’t want to have egg on their face as focus switches to therapeutics. So if they can tie a steroid with questionable results they approved to a drug they know that works it protects their bureaucratic rear ends it makes them look better.
